Accomplishments Won “Novice Horse of the Year” in 1987 at the Big Country Cutting Horse Association Placed 7th out of 1,700 participants in “Senior Working Cowhorse” in 2000 Placed 21st out of 1,500 in “Junior Working Cowhorse” in 2000 with one of his young horses (a 4 year old) Began training Cutting horses in 1985, with the help of Buster Welch in Merkel, TX, for the King Ranch Has shown horses since 1985 in Cutting, Reining, and Working Cowhorse Trained Andalusian Horses for the Mildred Nelson, owner of the Bar X Ranch in Weatherford, TX Involved in the horse and cattle industry all his life. I grew-up training Race Horses (Throughbred and Quarter horses) and running wheat pasture cattle
